Please join me in celebrating! One year ago today, November 1st, my husband, Tim, re-joined the ranks of the employed.
God generously provided a wonderful job for my husband. Surely there cannot be a more grateful man, wife or children. Tim loves his job and is treated very well by the company and employees.
Additionally, God graciously provided a house for us, and in return, we have dedicated it to the Lord. We wish it to be a sanctuary, a place of refuge for our friends who need a respite.
Our Heavenly Father proved all of the naysayers wrong! Tim was not too old or over-qualified to get a good job. With God, all things are possible. All things!
While we’ve had to relocate far from our family and friends, God is seeing to it that we are meeting wonderful people, future friends. Our new city and its surrounding areas immediately felt like home.
A year later, my family and I remain sincerely grateful for all of the trials we went through. We realize now, with the benefit of hindsight, that every single difficulty was necessary for us to develop into the people that God needs us to be so we can best serve Him. From this perspective, we see that our trials were an honor.
We once again want to thank all of our family members and friends who prayed with us and for us, who stood by us and supported us financially, spiritually and emotionally during so many long months. May God richly bless every one of you!
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
